It’s Thanksgiving here in the United States… one of my favorite Holidays. Why? Because it urges us to do what is too often shrouded in the inertia of Western culture: Slow down and reflect. No physical gifts, only gratitude (ironically, one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves, others, and the world).
As I sit in my California office overlooking the ocean on a sunny, 75-degree day in late November, it’s not difficult to find things to be grateful for. But as I go through my list one thing always becomes clear: It’s the people in my life I’m most grateful for. It’s the people that not only make things more enjoyable, they make things possible. I’m greatly indebted to so many people who have helped me live the life I live and shape me into the person I am today.
On this note, THANK YOU for all of the incredible support you’ve given to me, Maxims4Mavericks, no doubt, the world you live in. Here’s my way of saying, “I heart you” (Tweet this).
Be a Maverick,
