Make a habit of questioning the answers

After a decade spent observing human behavior I’ve noticed some patterns that have led to a surprisingly simple theory of mine:  The sources of our greatest problems are twofold: One, a lack of information and two, perhaps most importantly, a plethora of wrong information. Accordingly, we can divide the majority of the population into two camps:

  1. The uninformed
  2. The misinformed

Fortunately, there is a third group: The informed. These individuals earn their membership by preventing themselves from hastily jumping to conclusions. They reexamine their sources, question the ‘facts,’ and consistently challenge their own beliefs and assumptions. These are the people this world longs for.

Here’s to an open mind and insatiable curiosity.
